  • Shipped one 20 foot container of charitable goods to Gambia with school equipment, hospital equipment, and a lot of used clothing donated by people fom the Fleet, Farnborough, and Farnham areas. Also included in the container were about 15 round cafeteria tables and over 40 cafeteria chairs, as well as food chillers and approximately 4000 square feet of used carpet squares.
  • Donated a 40 foot container to The Don McMath Foundations School, The Gambia consisting of new school equipment; desks and chairs, used school books, exercise books, used chairs and tables, toys and other school equipment.
  • We also supplied a couple of pallets of medical goods such as bandages, sutures, chest drains, surgical instruments, crutches, wheelchairs used clothing which will be distributed to various village health centers.
  • We secured some funding for The Don McMath Foundations School from RE Cares (Reed Elsevier Publishing in London) in early 2012.
  • Provided a donation to the regions Air Ambulance towards maintenance and servicing costs.
  • Provided equipment to Headley Court Rehabilitation Centre for wounded members of the armed forces. The equipment enabled them to set-up a pilot project, to help members of the armed suffering from PTSD, to build a proven business case to get full funding from HM Government.
  • Donation for the Oxford Transplant Foundation at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford.
  • Donation to purchase an industrial refrigerator and industrial cooker together with cooking utensils that was donated to COATS, an elderly day care centre.
  • Carried out building works and provided equipment to Helen House Hospice for terminally ill children.
  • Donated sports equipment to Camp Mohawk, a multi-functional day centre for special needs children. Throughout the year the Centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise, and learn in a secure and caring environment.
  • Provided a sailing boat for the Docklands Centre for under privileged children.
  • Lions Club, Masvingo, Zimbabwe - 40 foot container of used medical equipment such as beds, mattresses, hoists, bed lockers and chairs. 
  • Sierra Leone - Containers of used redundant British Army stock. Beneficiary was the amputee centre in Freetown as well as the Connaught Hospital in Freetown. 
  • Gambia - Donated a Siemens mammography machine which was first installed at Royal Victoria Hospital Banjul but was later moved to Farafni AFPRC Hospital on the north bank. 
  • Uniforms – The SHOSJ has supplied in excess of 10800 sets of scrub suits to the Ministry of Health in Gambia. Each and every health worker in Gambia now has at least one set of scrubs.
  • Illiassa Clinic, Gambia - Supplied 8 hospital beds and lockers. 
  • Ahmed Health Centre - Supplied 20 hospital beds with mattresses as well as bedside lockers. 
  • Balagnarr Health Centre - Supplied 10 hospital beds with mattresses.
  • Noo Kunda Clinic - 8 hospital beds with mattresses and cupboards. 
  • Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, Banjul, Gambia - Supplied 3 Incubators and a large number of hospital beds.
  • Haiti - Sent 60 hospital beds which were obtained from St. Georges Hospital Trust in London along with a load of ward furniture including bedside cupboards and patient chairs.
  • Army / Navy Health Centres, Gambia - 75% of all patients treated by the Army and Naval clinic in Gambia are for local villagers. We have sent one 40 foot container of used medical equipment including beds, mattresses and bedside cabinets, as well as patient chairs.
  • Bondali Health Centre - Supply of zimmer frames, crutches, beds and lockers.
  • Don McMath Foundation School, Gambia - Supplied free freight for shipments of books, computers and sports equipment. As a result the school has named the Science Lab Classroom after our Order and have placed a plaque on the science room in the new Upper Basic building.
  • DRC – Congo - Container of equipment to a maternity clinic 
  • Monks Barn Children's' Home - Restoration and refurbishment of playground and equipment.
  • Purley Park Residential Care Home - Conversion of basement into recreation area, decoration of main entrance hall and main staircase carpeted.
  • Crescent Centre for the Handicapped - Patio built.
  • Bromley Blind Bowlers - Annual supply of transport and trophies.
  • Helen House Hospice - Construction of a Timber Railway Carriage Playroom with ongoing maintenance and provision of equipment.
  • Royal Berks Ambulance Service – Defibrillators.
  • Royal Berkshire Hospital - ANPEA monitor, Kontron Premature Baby Unit, 2 Oximetry Units, ANPEA Monitor.
  • Battle Hospital - 10 cots and beds.
  • St. John's Ambulance – Installed extrication board.
  • Goza Hospital – Provided 6 wheelchairs.
  • Royal Berkshire Hospital Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Unit - Flowtron Suit.
  • Watlington Hospital - D2 digital blood Pressure machines and Medi-link ultrasound system.
  • Special Resources Unit St. Michael's School Tilehurst - Thinkpad Talking Computer and Voice Synthesizer.
  • John Radcliffe Hospital - 2 Chairs for Leukaemia Ward.
  • Dingley Play Therapy Group Battle Hospital - Specialist Learning Aids and Specialist Wheelchair.
  • St. Christopher's Hospice - Kitchen equipment and crockery, towels and bed linen and radios/CD players. 
  • St. Katherine C & E (Aided) Primary School – Audio equipment, special desks for children with disabilities.
  • Epsom General Hospital - Syringe Drivers.
  • Leatherhead Hospital - Wheelchairs.
  • Lewisham, Farnborough and Epsom General Hospital - Christmas Toys .
  • Shooting Star Children's Hospice - Play Stations and flat screen desks, electronic equipment, an interactive whiteboard and a data projector to a school for children with secial needs.
